President of TFBS Bioscience Inc. from Taiwan and Officials from National Taiwan University Visit President NAGATA

On April 24, President Tatung YUAN of TFBS Bioscience Inc. and Professor Hsinyu LEE of National Taiwan University visited the Tsukuba Campus to meet with President NAGATA Kyosuke, Executive Officer KANAHO Yasunori, Vice President for Collaborative Research NAKAUCHI Yasushi, Vice President and Executive Director for Global Affairs IKEDA Jun, Executive Officer and Director General of the Bureau of Global Initiatives OHNEDA Osamu, Director SAKURAI Takeaki of the Office of Global Initiatives, and Professor NISHIYAMA Hiroyuki of the Institute of Medicine.

During the meeting, President YUAN provided an overview of the company's business activities and expressed a keen interest in pursuing joint research opportunities. Professor NISHIYAMA then discussed potential areas for collaboration, with further insights provided by Professors SAKURAI Takeshi and NISHIMURA Ken on their research using viral vectors.

Subsequent discussions were held among Vice President NAKAUCHI, Executive Officer OHNEDA, Director SAKURAI, and Institute of Medicine Professors SAKURAI Takeshi, NISHIMURA Ken, KAWAGUCHI Atsushi, and SUZUKI Hiromichi regarding the focus and prospects of joint research.

Further collaboration is anticipated between TFBS Bioscience Inc., National Taiwan University, and the University of Tsukuba in the future.
